Meaningful Visit from Governor Kalaylı and Rector Akman
Graduation Exhibition Opened at Our University
Graduation Exhibition Opened at Our University
The “Graduation Exhibition”, prepared by the Department of Handicrafts of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences at our University, was opened to visitors in the foyer area of the Rectorate Conference Hall.
The exhibition featured works created by students throughout their educational journey. Art enthusiasts had the opportunity to view a variety of pieces inspired by traditional arts and motifs, including illumination (tezhip), calligraphy, marbling (ebru), pattern design, and candle art. Combining traditional handicrafts with contemporary interpretations, the exhibited works reflected diverse aspects of cultural heritage.
The artworks on display highlighted the students’ artistic perspectives, practical skills, and cultural sensitivity toward traditional arts. As part of the program, visitors were able to examine works produced using a range of different techniques.
The exhibition was curated by Lecturer Veysel Çiftçi, Lecturer Dr. Fatime Erol, Lecturer Feride Duran, Lecturer Yasemin Polat, Lecturer Şerif Hamideddin Tektaş, and Lecturer Eyyüp Gülocak.
The “Graduation Exhibition” will remain open to visitors in the foyer area of the Rectorate Conference Hall until May 9.
