Our Rector Akman Attended the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day Commemoration Programs

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, attended the "The Will is Ours, The Victory is Ours" Cortege March and the commemoration program held at Cumhuriyet Square as part of the events organized for the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day.

The cortege march, which started in front of the Hacı Cümbüş Mosque, concluded at Cumhuriyet Square with intense participation from citizens. Carrying Turkish flags in their hands, the participants once again revived the spirit of national unity and solidarity displayed on July 15.

Following the cortege march, the 15 July martyrs were commemorated with mercy and gratitude through various activities during the program held at Cumhuriyet Square. In the program, our nation's determination to protect democracy, independence, and the national will was emphasized once again.

Sharing his assessments within the scope of the program, our Rector Akman stated that July 15 is a historical turning point where our nation demonstrated its unity, solidarity, and love for the homeland to the entire world. Indicating that this meaningful day maintains its place in memories as one of the strongest examples of protecting the national will and uniting around common values, our Rector Akman said that passing this spirit down to future generations is a shared responsibility.
