Project Teams Supported Under TÜBİTAK 2209-A Program Paid a Visit to Rector Akman
Students whose projects were awarded support under the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, carried out by the TÜBİTAK Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB), together with their academic advisors, paid a visit to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, in his office.
During the visit, evaluations were made regarding the projects that had been granted support, while the students provided information about the objectives of their research and the expected outcomes of their studies. Rector Akman emphasized that this achievement represents an important contribution to strengthening the culture of scientific research at our university and congratulated both the project teams and their academic advisors.
Stating that involving students in research processes at an early stage makes a significant contribution to the development of their scientific thinking and research skills, Rector Akman noted that, as a university, they will continue to support student projects and encourage young researchers.
As part of the visit, Rector Akman presented various gifts to the students and academic advisors whose projects had been selected for TÜBİTAK support. The project teams, in turn, expressed their gratitude to Rector Akman for his interest and support.
