New Success from Our University in EU Projects: Our SOILAB Project Entitled to Receive Support
Standing out recently with its successful projects in European Union and international grant programs, our university has added a new one to its achievements in EU-funded projects.
Prepared under the leadership of the Kilis Chamber of Agriculture Presidency, in partnership with the Kilis Special Provincial Administration, and with the academic contribution of our university, the SOILAB Project has been found eligible for support under the PACE Grant Program, which is co-financed by the EU and implemented by GIZ.
Initiated with the goal of "Scientific and Sustainable Agriculture," the project will establish a soil analysis laboratory within our university and develop a digital decision support system.
Within the scope of the project, training will be provided to farmers and agricultural enterprises in Kilis, and data-driven agricultural consultancy services will be offered. Thus, climate-friendly and sustainable agricultural practices will be popularized.
In addition to enhancing the competitiveness of Kilis agriculture and strengthening public agricultural services, the project aims to make significant contributions to regional development and green transition.
