As a result of the evaluations conducted within the scope of ÜNİFEST – University Student Communities Social Contribution Project Festival and Competition, organized in cooperation with the General Directorate of Youth Services and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, our University achieved a significant success by qualifying for the finals with two projects.
In the Climate Change, Environmental Sustainability, and Green Energy category, the project titled “Drought-Resilient Agricultural Practices: Mulching and Water Harvesting Training and Implementation Project,” developed by the Climate Change and Drought Mitigation Student Community and coordinated by İbrahim Halil Can, advanced to the finals under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Meryem Kuzucu.
In the Disaster Management and Community Resilience category, the project “Nurses Prepared for Disasters,” developed by the Health Community and coordinated by Melike Arslan, also qualified for the finals under the academic guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuriye Nesrin İpekçi.
The finalist projects will be exhibited during the festival program to be held on 6–7 May 2026, while the award ceremony will take place on 7 May 2026.
