Five Projects from Our University Awarded Support under the ÜNİDES Program
Five projects developed by our students have been selected for support under the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES), implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Prepared by our student communities in the fields of sustainability, disaster awareness, artificial intelligence, family values, and agricultural resilience, these projects address important issues that promote social responsibility and contribute to public awareness.
The supported projects and their coordinators are as follows:
“Drought-Resilient Agricultural Practices: Mulching and Water Harvesting Training and Implementation Project” was developed by the Climate Change and Drought Mitigation Community. The project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Meryem Kuzucu and led by community president Esmanur Dökülgen. It focuses on practical solutions to agricultural drought.
“Nurses Prepared for Disasters” is being carried out by the Health Community. The project aims to raise disaster awareness among nursing students. It is supervised by Dr. Nuriye Nesrin İpekçi and coordinated by community president Melike Arslan.
“From University to Society: Family Academy” was developed by the Family and Values Community. The project is supervised by Lecturer Mehmet Karaoğlan, while Öznur Coşar serves as the community president.
“Artificial Intelligence Skills Training” is being implemented by the Intelligence Games and Coding Community. The project is supervised by Lecturer Mehmet Karaoğlan and coordinated by community president Mehmet Türkmen.
“Clean Campus, Green Future” was developed by the Early Childhood Studies Community. The project is also supervised by Lecturer Mehmet Karaoğlan, and the community president is Hale Yüzbaşıoğlu.
These projects make significant contributions to our University’s youth-oriented social responsibility and sustainable development goals while also strengthening our students’ project development, leadership, and implementation capacities.
