Visit of Memur-Sen Chairman Yalçın to Our Rector Akman
Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen, along with his accompanying delegation, paid a courtesy visit to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, in his office.
During the visit, current developments in higher education, academic activities, education policies, and potential areas of collaboration between the university and the union were discussed. The meeting also emphasized the importance of a shared vision in cultivating a qualified human resource in the field of education, while evaluating the contributions of knowledge and experience sharing to institutional development.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and provided information on the activities carried out by our University in the areas of education, research, and societal contribution. He underlined that universities evolve not only through academic production but also through the strong connections they establish with different segments of society, and noted that such engagements help strengthen opportunities for cooperation.
