Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Our University and the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology

A cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing collaboration in academic, scientific, and cultural fields has been signed between our University and the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology.

Under the protocol, signed by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, and the Rector of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agil Shirinov, the two institutions aim to strengthen educational, research, and academic cooperation through a range of joint initiatives.

In line with the agreement, plans include the mutual exchange of knowledge and scientific research, the organization of joint academic activities, the development of educational programs for faculty members and students, and the promotion of academic mentoring and advisory activities.

The protocol also envisages continued cooperation through partner institutions in organizing the international symposium “The Experience of Living Together in Islamic Civilization,” as well as the exchange of expertise in quality assurance and academic accreditation. Furthermore, the two institutions intend to collaborate on initiatives related to international university rankings.

Commenting on the partnership, Rector Akman emphasized the importance the University places on strengthening its international academic collaborations. He stated that the signed protocol would contribute significantly to the development of scientific and cultural relations between the two institutions and further enhance their academic engagement.
