Ali Yıldırım, President of the Şanlıurfa Hemophilia and Thalassemia Association, together with accompanying guests, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman at his office.
During the visit, discussions focused on the challenges faced by individuals with hemophilia and thalassemia, the importance of awareness-raising initiatives, and potential social responsibility activities in this field. The meeting also addressed opportunities for cooperation between the University and non-governmental organizations in the areas of health and public awareness.
Rector Akman emphasized the importance of initiatives aimed at raising awareness about public health and stated that transforming the knowledge and expertise of universities into societal benefit is of great value.
