Rector Akman Visits Kilis Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ekinci
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited Adem Ekinci, Kilis Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
During the visit, opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation were discussed within the scope of studies on the environment, urban development, climate change, sustainability, and the future of Kilis. It was emphasized that combining the University’s academic expertise with the practical experience of public institutions would strengthen the capacity to develop solutions to the environmental and urban challenges facing the city.
Rector Akman stated that Kilis 7 Aralık University attaches importance to cooperation with relevant public institutions in initiatives addressing the needs of the city. He also noted that the University’s academic capacity can contribute to efforts concerning multidimensional issues such as the environment and climate change.
