Rector Akman Pays Education-Focused Visits in Nizip
As part of his visit program in Nizip, Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited Nizip Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, from which he graduated, and met with School Principal Halil Çetin. He later visited Yaşar Yılmaz, President of the Nizip Imam Hatip High Schools Association (NİLDER).
During the meeting at Nizip Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, discussions focused on the new academic year, students’ academic and social development, and their preparation for university. Expressing his pleasure at returning to his former school, Rector Akman conveyed his best wishes to teachers and students for the new academic year.
During his meeting with NİLDER President Yaşar Yılmaz, views were exchanged on educational activities for young people, preparing students for their future goals, and the role that non-governmental organizations can play in this process.
Rector Akman stated that young people’s educational journeys are strengthened through the contributions of different institutions and emphasized that stronger ties among schools, universities, and civil society can make a significant contribution to preparing students more effectively for the future.
