Rector Akman Paid a Visit to President Memiler of the Kilis Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, paid a visit to Şevket Memiler, President of the Kilis Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen.
During the visit, views were exchanged on potential areas of cooperation between the University and the community of tradesmen and craftsmen, including vocational education, entrepreneurship, and joint initiatives that could contribute to the economic development of the city.
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman stated that universities are important institutions that contribute not only to education and research but also to the economic and social development of the cities in which they are located. He emphasized that strong partnerships with local stakeholders would create significant value for both our students and our city.
