Rector Akman Paid a Visit to Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, paid a visit to the Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, Fatma Şahin, in her office.
During the visit, views were exchanged on potential areas of cooperation between the University and local governments, as well as on joint projects in the fields of education, science, culture, and social contribution, together with initiatives aimed at supporting regional development.
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman stated that the support and contributions provided by the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality have added significant value to our University's educational activities, scientific research, and social contribution initiatives. Expressing his appreciation to Mayor Fatma Şahin for her close interest in our University and her continued support for higher education, Rector Akman emphasized that strong partnerships with local governments make important contributions to both the development of universities and the sustainable development of cities. He also expressed his hope that the existing cooperation would continue to grow stronger in the future.
