Cooperation Protocol on Career Development and Employment Signed Between Our University and İŞKUR

A "Protocol on the Provision of İŞKUR Services" was signed between our University and the Kilis Provincial Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) to support our students' career planning, facilitate their access to employment opportunities, and ensure the more effective delivery of İŞKUR services within our University.

The protocol was signed by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, and the Provincial Director of İŞKUR, Erdinç Çamlı. Under the agreement, İŞKUR services will be provided through a dedicated service point to be established within our University's Career Center. Through this service point, students will be able to register with and update their information in the İŞKUR system, apply for job vacancies matching their qualifications, receive guidance on applications for the National Internship Program, and benefit from support in applying for active labor market programs such as the İŞKUR Youth Program, the On-the-Job Training Program (İEP), and Vocational Training Courses (MEK).

Commenting on the protocol, Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman emphasized the importance of supporting students' educational journey with effective career planning and employment opportunities. He stated that the cooperation established between the University and İŞKUR will help students become better prepared for the labor market. Highlighting the University's commitment to initiatives that facilitate young people's successful transition into professional life, Rector Akman expressed his hope that the protocol would be beneficial for the University, its students, and the province.

İŞKUR Provincial Director Erdinç Çamlı noted that cooperation between universities and İŞKUR plays a significant role in strengthening young people's employability and facilitating their transition into working life. He expressed his best wishes for the successful implementation of the protocol.
