ASKON Gaziantep Branch President Güneş Paid a Visit to Rector Akman
Mustafa Güneş, President of the Gaziantep Branch of the Anatolian Lions Businessmen’s Association (ASKON), paid a visit to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, in his office.
During the visit, views were exchanged on university–industry cooperation, entrepreneurship, regional development, and potential collaborative initiatives that could be developed between the business community and universities.
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman stated that universities are important institutions that contribute not only to the production of knowledge and technology but also to the economic and social development of the regions in which they are located. He emphasized that strong partnerships with the business community would make significant contributions to students’ professional development and employment opportunities.
