AK Party Kahramanmaraş Member of Parliament Karatutlu Paid a Visit to Rector Akman

Dr. İrfan Karatutlu, Member of Parliament for Kahramanmaraş from the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), paid a visit to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, in his office.

During the visit, views were exchanged on recent developments in higher education, the role of universities in regional development, and ongoing initiatives in the fields of education and scientific research.

Expressing his pleasure at the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman stated that universities are key institutions that generate scientific knowledge, educate highly qualified human resources, and contribute to the development of the regions in which they are located. He emphasized that strengthening academic activities, supporting research, and fostering cooperation with public institutions play a significant role in the continued advancement of universities. Rector Akman also thanked Dr. İrfan Karatutlu for his kind visit.

Dr. İrfan Karatutlu, in turn, highlighted the important role universities play in scientific and social development and stated that he closely follows the activities carried out by Kilis 7 Aralık University. He also conveyed his best wishes for the University's continued success in the fields of education, research, and social contribution.
