Our University Participated in the Traditional Lebeniye Festival
Our University took part in the Traditional Lebeniye Festival organized with the aim of preserving cultural values and strengthening social cohesion. As part of the event, local delicacies and traditional activities were presented to participants.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman's spouse, Mrs. Hülya Akman, accompanied our academic staff and students who attended the Oylum Höyük Traditional Lebeniye Day event.
Following the festival program, participants visited Oylum Höyük, the Yusuf İzzettin Tomb, and the Adesim Mosaic Basilica, which are among the significant historical and cultural sites of Kilis. During the visit, information was provided on the historical heritage of the region, and its cultural assets were examined on site.
The event concluded after a program that contributed to a cultural interaction and offered participants a meaningful experience.
