2026-2027 Academic Year Orientation Programme Begins at Our University
2026-2027 Academic Year Orientation Programme Begins at Our University
The opening of the 2026-2027 Academic Year Orientation Programme was held to support our newly enrolled students in adapting to campus life and becoming more familiar with the opportunities and facilities offered by our University.
The programme began with a moment of silence followed by the Turkish National Anthem. It was attended by Kilis Governor Ömer Kalaylı, Commander of the 11th Border Brigade Brigadier General Ayhan Kalender, Mayor of Kilis Av. Hakan Bilecen, Chief Public Prosecutor Emre Kaya, President of the Justice Commission Ferhat Korkmaz, Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, members of the protocol, academic and administrative staff, and students.
The opening speeches were delivered by Career Centre Director Assist. Prof. Dr. M. Yasin Çakır, Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, Mayor of Kilis Av. Hakan Bilecen, and Kilis Governor Ömer Kalaylı.
Addressing the students, Rector Akman stated that university life is an important period not only for academic development, but also for building new friendships, gaining diverse experiences, and shaping the future. Encouraging students to make active use of the scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports opportunities available at our University, Rector Akman wished all students a successful and fulfilling academic year.
The Orientation Programme will continue with a range of activities designed to help students become better acquainted with our University and campus life.
