Rector Akman Visited the “Idea Stage: Digital Minds 2.0” Event
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, visited the “Idea Stage: Digital Minds 2.0” event, organized by the Vocational School of Technical Sciences of our University as part of the Graduation, Spring, and Science Festivals, together with Deputy Governor Okan Dağlı, Mayor of Kilis Attorney Hakan Bilecen, President of the Justice Commission Ferhat Korkmaz, and other guests.
During the event, held in the foyer area of the Abdullah Enveri Library and Congress Center, projects developed by students under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hasan Güler, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ümit Deniz Akyavuz, Asst. Prof. Dr. Gülsade Kale, Lecturer Dr. Adem Coşkun, and Lecturer Kadir Polat were examined, and detailed information about the projects was presented.
As part of the event, desktop applications, web-based applications, digital games, computer-aided designs, and projects focusing on the integration of technology and art were exhibited. Students delivered presentations introducing their digital applications and design projects.
Rector Akman stated that the projects developed by the students represented valuable outcomes of practice-oriented education and congratulated both the academic staff and students who contributed to the event.
