Football Tournament Finals and Award Ceremony Held at Our University
The final matches of the Student and Staff Football Tournament, organized by the Health, Culture and Sports Department of our University as part of the Graduation, Spring and Science Festivals, were held at the Sports Valley Football Field. At the award ceremony held following the matches, trophies and medals were presented to the winning teams by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman.
In the tournament, the Rectorate Football Team won the championship in the staff category, while the Kilisli Muallim Rıfat Faculty of Education Football Team claimed the title in the student category.
In his remarks at the conclusion of the program, Rector Akman stated that sports constitute an important part of university life and emphasized that such events strengthen the spirit of unity, solidarity, and cooperation among students and staff. Congratulating all teams that participated in the tournament, Rector Akman also expressed his appreciation to the units and personnel who contributed to the successful organization of the event.
