Rector Akman Pays Internship- and Career-Focused Visits to Business Leaders
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited Mahsum Altunkaya, Chairman of the Executive Board of Altunkaya Group of Companies, and Abdulhadi Çelik, Chairman of the Board of Gentaş Group of Companies.
During the meetings, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the University and the business community, expanding internship opportunities that enable students to gain professional experience, and developing initiatives that will help them enter professional life better prepared after graduation. The importance of bringing students into closer contact with different sectors during their education was also emphasized, particularly in terms of complementing theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
Rector Akman stated that strong ties with the business community would help students become more familiar with different sectors, gain first-hand experience of professional life, and make more informed decisions in planning their careers.
