Rector Akman Visits President of the Council of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, at his office.
During the visit, discussions focused on current developments in higher education, the University’s academic and institutional activities, and its objectives for the upcoming period. Efforts aimed at strengthening the educational, research, and societal contribution missions of universities were also addressed.
Rector Akman stated that the University continues its efforts to enhance the quality of education and training, increase scientific productivity, and make stronger contributions to regional development.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on quality in higher education, specialization, new academic programs, and the adaptation of universities to changing needs.
