Rector Akman Visits Administrative Units
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited the Department of Construction and Technical Affairs and the Department of Student Affairs, where he received information about the ongoing activities and preparations.
During his visit to the Department of Student Affairs, Rector Akman reviewed student registration procedures carried out ahead of the new academic year, preparations aimed at ensuring that registration processes are conducted efficiently and smoothly, as well as application and administrative procedures related to the student amnesty. Emphasizing the importance of accessibility, efficiency, and accurate information in administrative services provided to students, Rector Akman wished the staff success and ease in their work during the busy registration period.
At the Department of Construction and Technical Affairs, ongoing maintenance, repair, and improvement works across the University campuses, as well as preparations of physical facilities for the new academic year, were discussed. Assessments were also made regarding current needs and planned works aimed at creating more functional, safe, and efficient learning and working environments.
Rector Akman stated that supporting the University’s academic activities with a strong and well-functioning administrative structure is of great importance for institutional efficiency. He also noted that the coordinated preparation of all units for the new academic year directly contributes to improving the university experience of both students and staff.
