Rector Akman Conducts an Inspection Visit to University Laboratories
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman visited the laboratories within the University to receive information about ongoing activities and the existing technical infrastructure.
During the visit, the laboratories’ areas of use, research and application capacity, available devices and equipment, and required technical improvements were evaluated. Rector Akman also received information on the academic and scientific studies being carried out in the laboratories and met with the relevant staff to hear their views and suggestions.
Rector Akman emphasized that a strong research infrastructure is one of the key components of high-quality scientific production. He stated that improving laboratory facilities makes a significant contribution both to the quality of academic studies and to students’ practical learning experiences.
The visit also included assessments on making more effective use of existing facilities, identifying current needs, and further developing the laboratories so that they can contribute more effectively to education, training, and research activities.
