Our University Continues to Grow with New Academic Programmes
Our University Continues to Grow with New Academic Programmes
Following the evaluation conducted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), two of our academic programmes have been allocated student quotas for the first time, effective from the 2026–2027 Academic Year.
As part of the 2026 initial quota allocation process, 20 student places were approved for the Traditional Turkish Arts Programme (Special Talent Admission) under the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and 20 student places for the New Media and Communication Programme under the Faculty of Communication.
Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman stated that the University continues its efforts to strengthen its academic structure and educational capacity. He emphasized that the newly established programmes will make significant contributions both to expanding the University's academic opportunities and to educating the qualified human resources needed for the region's development.
Rector Akman further noted that the New Media and Communication Programme aims to educate graduates equipped to meet the evolving demands of the digital communication sector, while the Traditional Turkish Arts Programme will contribute to the preservation, promotion, and transmission of Türkiye's rich cultural heritage to future generations.
