Opening Ceremony of the Graduate Student Symposium Held at Our University
The opening ceremony of the Graduate Student Symposium, organized by the Graduate School of our University, was held.
The program, attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman, as well as academic and administrative staff and graduate students, began with a moment of silence followed by the National Anthem.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vakkas Uluçay, Director of the Graduate School, emphasized that the symposium brings together graduate students from various disciplines, strengthens academic exchange, and provides an important platform for young researchers to present their work.
In his address, our Rector Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Akman underlined that graduate education is one of the key drivers of scientific production. He noted that the studies conducted by young researchers contribute not only to the academic community but also to societal development. Highlighting the significance of such events in enhancing the scientific productivity of our University, Rector Akman expressed his appreciation to all those who contributed to the organization of the symposium.
The symposium sessions will continue for two days at the Abdullah Enveri Library and Congress Center.
